The Friends of the Beamsley Project
The Friends of the Beamsley Project are a friendly group of local people who volunteer their time to help support our fundraising efforts. They fundraise to help support our bursary. The Beamsley Bursary allows the Beamsley Project Charitable Trust to provide support to disabled children whose families are experiencing financial challeges by funding a stay with at our holiday facilities at Bolton Abbey, near Skipton. They also help provide the finances for new equipment. Previously they have supported us by purchasing an additional hoist and an new profiling bed. Its a great way to make new friends and help a small local charity that has reach across the UK. There are many ways to get involved from baking for one of the Friends events, by organising a sponsored event or gardening etc The Friends of the Beamsley Project meet a every couple of month and run a number events throughout the year.
