The Centre

The Centre is in the former Methodist Chapel which has been superbly converted to receive visitors with disabilities.

There are 6 ground floor bedrooms with toilets, bathroom and shower rooms close by. [Two 4-bedded rooms and four 2-bedded rooms] The bathroom has a ceiling hoist, adjustable changing table and Closomat toilet. The shower rooms are wheel in showers. On the second floor there are 2 further en suite bedrooms one of which has a wheel in shower. The first floor bedrooms are 4-bedded. All bed rooms have independently controlled heaters and washbasins. We do not have bunk beds and all beds are ready made on your arrival.

The bathroom has a low level bath, adult changing table, wash & dry toilet and overhead hoist.

The catering standard kitchen has adjustable height hobs and sink. There is a dishwasher, water boiler and hand wash. There are ample fridges and freezers. There is a full range of cooking utensils and equipment such as blenders.

The dining room can seat 30 people and is fully equiped with crockery & cutlery. There is a filter coffee machine. 

Visitors have use of a laundry room with commercial washing machine and dryer and drying racks. 

On the first floor is a large hall for recreation with TV and DVD, piano, table tennis and pool table. There is a covered way at the rear with tables and chairs, floor draughts game and table tennis.

There is a newly created lounge on the ground floor with large TV, DVD and AV facilities.
